On February 29, 2024, PSAC 901’s Steward’s Council unanimously voted to add ‘caste’ to our anti-harassment statement as a ground for discrimination. This statement is read at the outset of all meetings held by the local which are open to the membership.
The Local is continuing to discuss ways to further uphold our membership’s rights and dignity within our organization and broadly as it relates to caste and other forms of discrimination.
